Today was a small bug fix for the casino, which could have an integer overflow, since the current levels and money amount are much higher, than originally expected. This is sadly due to a bug in the XP formula, which totally screwed up all calculations and will cause a reset of levels, items, stats and money at commercial launch of the game. We’re sorry!

the beta phase is now closed. The game seems to be pretty stable and we hope you all enjoyed the ride.
This update contains guild banners, a new weapon, several new crime stories and battle image precaching for better performance.
Although the game is launched, the game isn’t nearly finished yet. There are some crucial features which have to be implemented before the game can really get successful, so expect many updates in the weeks of December, think of it as a christmas present. As soon as those features are in we’re going to start a big advertisement campaign to attract many players and get this game really going. Hope you’ll stay with us in the next weeks, they’re going to be hot!

the VIP list is now live. You may add and remove every player at any time. Whenever a VIP logs in you’ll see a notification in the bottom left Events box. This is especially useful if you’re good friend with someone or if you’re an enemy of someone and you want to attack him as soon as he comes online.
Sidenote: The shop is now displaying item infos if you hover with your mouse over the items.

we’ve just finished our guild system. Opening a guild costs 1 million ¤ but it will later give you great advantages, so it’s worth the money.
Your action points maximum is now raised 25 points each level you advance, so you can save up some action points while you’re offline.

our weapon shop was just redesigned and now is in the style of the inventory. Well looking, nice and easy UI, good error display. Furthermore we’ve added 6 new weapons into the shop (all of them melee weapons).
As a special feature we’ve just implemented the counting of won and lost battles which is displayed at the user view page, as well as a battle ranking page which is displayed at the highscore page.

we just improved the inventory page (it's now looking and working as intended) and we've implemented the ability to send items and money via mail. To do so simply send someone a mail (aka PM) and attach money and items there. To retreive this money and items the receiver only has to click 'retreive attachment'.

we just implemented some really cool live features: If you're on the online listing or the battle target listing, you'll now get live updates to what is happening. This means you'll immediately see targets becoming available as well as other players and their statuses. You don't have to reload or press F5 anymore!
Additionally we tweaked the battle rules, attacking now costs 100 action points (AP) and you'll have the opportunity to win experience points (XP) based on the opponents level. Compared to crimes you get much more experience points (XP) by battling if you kill players with higher level than yours. Furthermore we've also tweaked the hospital time to be more fair.

we just launched the next part of our battle tactics series!
This time we introduce a new feature which reduces your weapon damage by distance (about one fifth for each unit). Due to this change weapons which only attack at close range are actually MORE powerful than the long ranged weapons. But with the long ranged weapons you have the ability to stay out of the shooting range, so you probably want to take a long ranged and a short ranged weapon with you.
Also, this update contains 7 new shiny weapons which you may obtain in the shop.

we just finished the second part of our planned tactical battle system. This time it's all about weapons. You may buy weapons in the item shop and equip up to two of them. But beware: They have different attack ranges, different damages and even different attack speeds. Later they'll have even more attributes (like explosion damage). So, make a wise choose about your weapons to keep the tactical advantage at all times!
Additionally this patch contains some bugfixes (for example freezing in the battle) and you now get AJAX or email notifications whenever you get a new PM. You can disable email notifications in your settings.

we've just deployed a patch with several improvements:
- Crime overview page was totally revamped.
- Ten new crimes live, though some texts are missing.
- Improved keyboard support in battle, you can now keep the button pressed and walk as long as you want.
- Mouse Movement support in battle.. If you click on a tile then you'll move automatically move there.

we just finished the first part of our planned tactical battle system. This first update implemented objects and covers. Whenever you shoot the path is now precisely calculated and anything in the path of the bullet may be hit by it. So, if your target is covering behind a tree, chances aren't bad that the tree will save his ass. One important point: If you stand directly next to a tree, you will shoot besides it (who would be so stupid and shoot at a tree directly in front of his face?). This means you can use covers to your tactical advantage!
While this is already a great start for tactical gameplay this won't be so much usable in 1v1 fights. The real deal will start when you can battle with more player (like 5v5).. Then you can really use the map for your tactical advantage, for example you may surround an enemy behind a tree then at least one will break his cover. So stay tuned for the next update which will feature battles with groups of players. To compensate for the less hits you'll deal in the battle we highered the damage accordingly.

we just integrated a sound system into the game. The first use of this sound system is an alert whenever you are attacked. You may of course disable sounds in your Settings Page. Additionally we improved the battle system display to be compatible with the rest of the webpage so for example if you started to write a forum post it is no longer lost.
